The first has Balderich saying to Reinhardt that he is hiding behind his armor, and asks what heartbreak he has, to which Reinhardt responds that he has none. The voice actors of Reinhardt and Balderich did their sessions together. The voice acting for the cinematic was done in three separate sessions.An unnamed female Crusader featured briefly in the short has a similar hairstyle to Johanna, a Crusader from Diablo featured in Heroes of the Storm, and is a possible reference to her.At the beginning before the flashback, Brigitte can be seen talking to Reinhardt, although Brigitte was not revealed as a hero until 4 months after this short was released.
